Guisborough Mobile Physiotherapy are now Covid-compliant and are visiting patients in their own homes again. Initially, in line with current guidance, these appointments are subject to a telephone triage and reserved only for those requiring face-to-face treatment.
What has changed?
Safety of our patients remains our upmost priority, so treatments will only proceed with the following procedures in place:
A full risk assessment has been carried out in line with HSE, CSP and government recommendations.
Therapists will wear PPE on arrival and during treatment, and procedures are in place to manage this. Additional hand and equipment decontamination procedures will also be in place.
A virtual triage will take place prior to all appointments, and treatments only proceed if face-to-face is deemed to be clinically justifiable.
Patients will be asked to pay by BACS where possible, or debit/credit card. Cash will only be accepted where this is not an option.
Patients will be asked to confirm through our new consent forms that they have understood these changes.
On the day of treatment, phone calls will be made to ensure the patient is well, and to confirm that the therapist is also.
Please do get in touch if you have any further questions or to book your first appointment.
